UBER BUS IN INDIA:

Though Uber has not yet disclosed details about the launch of Bus services in India. However, there is good reason to believe that Uber Bus will enter the Indian market within the next few months.

  • First, the main idea behind the launch of Bus services is to capture a share of public transport services in cities where the existing public transportation is not optimum.
  • Considering this fact, India offers Uber a perfect testing ground for its bus services, since most Indian cities have an overcrowded and chaotic public transportation system.
  • Uber has great potential to tap into this void. India offers a great opportunity for Uber’s bus service, especially office workers who do not have their own vehicle and are forced to use crowded transport means.

Uber can also expect support from the Indian Government, which is looking at all possible solutions to India’s urban traffic woes.
