Gave the driver a cash tip, and mysteriously he also got the same tip on my CC, which is supposedly given after the food is delivered. I NEVER authorized this, yet I can’t get anyone to help me get my money back. And now the emails come back as We didn’t receive your message.

On 6/14/18 I ordered a fairly large order $50.00 and used my debit card to pay. Well, Uber Eats placed a hold on my card without my knowledge. The funds were clearly in the bank. On the same day placed another order with different card from same bank with no problems. I will NEVER use services again. If there was a problem why wasn’t I contacted?? That was wrong and you had any of nerve putting a hold on my money !!

Firstly I ordered my dinner and it was not delivered at all. Then as I watched in real time it was registered as
delivered. So I then had to spend 10 minutes looking for a contact number to call support. Why not put this number on the receipt? Then I was offered the refund which is fine. Now I have to wait 2 days for this to be credited to my account. Then I was offered a “free meal” which turned out not to be the case at all, it was just $5 off the delivery fee. Then I check my account the next day and I am charged the full amount for the second delivery! Then when I speak to support asking why I was not given the $5 off the second order as promised, I was told “sorry I have limited information”. So I was charged twice for one meal, and was not given any “discount” as promised. I am NEVER using you cretins again. Dominos Pizza delivers with no problems every time. I want my money back every cent!

The delivery man called before starting the trip asking for direction.
He did not know the way and said he will call when he is near by.
He did not even bother to call.
He has just cancelled the order giving this excuse ” waited / no reply, etc “.
I messaged asking him to call. No response.
I hope I will not have to pay for this missed dinner .
Presumably he has had this for his dinner.
I also had such a similar bad experience with Uber rides.
Why doesn’t Uber allow calls to drivers directly. Would solve communication problems.

I ordered a happy meal for my 18 month old little boy through uber eats delivery. I ordered a fish finger happy meal…
I got a toy, 2 bags of melon and a fruit shoot… no fish finger or fries.
I rang McDonald’s and got told there was nothing they could do about it and I had to go onto the uber eats app and report it and tell them what happened and id get a refund and if I wanted to I could re-order the food… This is not the first time they have messed up orders!
Really not thrilled about it! My little boy didn’t get his food at all.

I am thoroughly ticked off right now. I’ve used Uber Eats MANY, MANY times. Of those times, I can’t even count how many times my order has been WRONG. This morning was the last straw when I placed a breakfast order from Bob Evans. It contained only 3 line items! 3!!!!! And the driver couldn’t even get THAT correct! When I place an order I also type in “PLEASE make sure the order is COMPLETE.” Do you think ANY of the drivers actually do that? No way! The missing items today were my 2 orders of milk. I spent a good 1/2 hour on the phone attempting to get Uber to have the driver retrieve my milk and deliver it. The 1st person I spoke with (Bob Evans restaurant called them and they, in turn, called me) told me that he couldn’t help me, that I would have to contact customer service. Now WHY couldn’t HE just call customer service and give them the lowdown? Apparently this guy was a moron and said that he didn’t have the complete scenario so I would need to contact them and then he proceeded to give me their phone number. After all was said and done, I did NOT get my milk (they credited my account, plus took off the delivery fee and something else). THEN I finally got to my food (cold by now) and guess what? You got it!! There was an item missing from my meal! I didn’t have any home fries! And I had even ordered a separate sausage gravy FOR the home fries. This was screwed up so much! I could actually see if this was something that occurred once, but NO, this is a regular occurrence with Uber Eats. Time for me to patronize Mr. Delivery and DoorDash!! Bye, bye Uber Eats.

I’ve never encountered a business so hell bent on not taking any business. I could have just gone to GrubHub and been done in less than a minute. I order 80 nuggets and only got 40so i requested a refund on the food i never got. it says i have gotten the refund but was only given back 2.48 rather then the 11.50 of the nuggets i havent recieve!

I enjoy that they place the time that it will take to arrive, so that you can order accordingly. Only to have it arrive almost 2 hours after they provide. The nice touch is the arrival time adjusting as it comes closer to the scheduled arrive time. The only thing better then waiting 2 hours longer for your food is for it to arrive cold and void of any moisture, as to imply that it was packaged 2 hours ago, but waited more patiently then I did for a driver to arrive to pick it up from the restaurant. The only silver lining in all of this, was that it seems that I was correctly charged for my two sides but only received one. As the time kept slipping long and longer, I had no way to cancel the order and no one that I could contact and complain to. I am never going to order from here again.
Where Is my Food?
Well I know where, but what I dont know is, why would an app, allow me to make and order before it looks for a driver?

This is the last time I use uber eats. They delivered my food but the 2 orange juices were not, and no way to notify them of the issue, no one checked up to see if everything was good or not. Stick to delivering people cause your food delivery sucks. Never again! Ill be telling all my friends of my experience.

Finding a driver to deliver my order is the responsibility of Uber. Therefore, if the delivery is delayed more than a (reasonable) period, then delivery charge ought to be waived.
I have not been able to find a method of contacting Uber for disputes.
