Uber Eats Pro is a reward program with a tiered status system for Uber Eats delivery partners.
About Uber Eats Pro
To incentivize the job of delivery partners, Uber rolled out the Uber Eats Pro rewards program. It is a tiered rewards system that offers new rewards as the driver reaches a higher status (Gold, Platinum, and Diamond). To upgrade to a higher status level, the drivers need to earn points with each delivery and maintain a satisfaction rating of 85% or higher.
How does the reward program work?
For delivery partners to claim rewards, they must collect points in a tiered system. Currently, there are three tiers — Gold, Platinum, and Diamond
The points system resets after each calendar month and you get to earn points during one-month periods which determine your standing in the upcoming month. You can immediately begin enjoying your new benefits after you have earned enough credits to unlock the next tier of rewards.
The scheme follows a proper points break-up which awards one point for every completed delivery. However, you can earn up to six points for making deliveries depending on the time of delivery. For instance, you get two points for a delivery made during the lunch hours (12 pm to 2 pm). Similarly, you can earn six points for making a delivery between 5 pm and 9 pm (referred to as dinner hours).
What are some advantages of Uber Eats Pro?
Following are some rewards you can receive with Uber Eats’ rewards program.
- 100% tuition coverage — You can unlock full tuition coverage at Arizona State University Online for yourself or any eligible family member. The program covers all undergraduate degrees and courses in the English language and entrepreneurship.
- Discounted car maintenance costs — Uber drivers can save up to 25% on car maintenance with CarAdvise. It is an app that lets them manage the maintenance of their vehicles. They can choose from over 20,000 shops to zero down on the best deal for them. Also, at different levels, the extent of reward benefits differs. For instance, delivery partners on Gold status qualify for $5 off on their first service.
- Extra 5% cashback on gas — Delivery partners can qualify for an additional 5% cash back on gas stations when paying with the Uber Visa Debit Card. As the card is linked to GoBank, drivers can manage their accounts through the GoBank app. The rewards can be cashed out five times per day.
Also, you can redeem your rewards through the app itself. This makes the redemption process quick and seamless. Nonetheless, program rewards are subject to variation by location. You must check the app to know about the available offers.
What is the current availability status of the reward program?
As of now, Uber is running a beta version of the program in a select few locations. Nonetheless, to check the availability of Eats Pro in your region, you can visit the Driver app.
