With Uber Pro, as the driver-partners climb through status levels within the program, they can receive new rewards. There are a total of four levels – Blue, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. There are no rewards available at the Blue status level. You qualify for the Gold Rewards at 600 points, Platinum Rewards at 1,200 points, and Diamond Rewards at 1,800 points.

To earn points for the incentive program, Uber drivers need to:

  • Maintain an average star rating of 4.85 or above
  • Boast a cancellation rate of no more than 4%

To maintain their current status and rewards, drivers need to keep these two factors under check at all times. For instance, if as a driver at the Gold status your cancellation rate gets over 10%, you lose access to the rewards immediately.

How does Uber Pro work?

Drivers can earn points by completing trips during fixed three-month windows after which the points are reset. They can enjoy the rewards of a particular status level while earning more points to unlock a higher status. Once they qualify for the next status tier, they start enjoying the rewards right away.

What are the perks of the program?

Pro by Uber for its driver-partners offers a variety of benefits that can add substantial value to their experience of driving with the ride-share platform. Here are some rewards that you can avail of upon obtaining the Gold, Platinum, or Diamond status levels:

  • 100% tuition coverage at ASU online
  • Free of cost 24/7 roadside assistance
  • Priority rematch for airport rides
  • Dedicated priority support over the app
  • Up to 25% off on car maintenance
  • Assured cashback at all gas stations
  • Up to 6% extra on time and distance rates
  • Uber Quest promotions

You can check the Driver app to know which rewards are currently available in your region as these program perks vary by location and are subject to change without any prior notice.

Am I eligible to receive a full-tuition cover at Arizona State University (ASU) online?

Drivers with a minimum of Gold status through the Pro rewards program in the US can avail of 100% tuition coverage at ASU online. As an additional requirement, the driver must have completed at least 3,000 trips to gain eligibility for this reward.

The drivers who qualify for this reward can transfer the same to an eligible family member of their own volition. This can include a spouse, dependent siblings, or a child.

Are Uber Pro and Uber Eats Pro two different programs?

Yes, Uber Pro and Uber Eats Pro are two different rewards programs launched by the company. Uber Eats Pro is specifically designed for delivery partners working with Uber Eats. However, delivery partners who also drive with the platform may be eligible for the program.

You can visit the company website or check on the Driver application to get more information on your eligibility for the program. Simply tap “Uber Pro” in the menu bar and click on the right arrow at the top of your screen.
